Gap Analysis
A fixed-fee, structured gap analysis of one product line or product group against the Digital Product Passport data points that apply to it, ending in a prioritised readiness plan.
Gap Analysis Pilot
Know what is missing while there is still time to get it.
Every Digital Product Passport depends on evidence you may not yet hold. Start with one product line or product group, find the most urgent gaps and give your compliance and leadership teams a clear basis for action. For batteries, the first passport to apply, the deadline is 18 February 2027.
What's included
Fixed fee. Clear scope. Built for speed.
- Product-scope mapping: which of your products need a Digital Product Passport now, and which categories are expected to follow
- Structured comparison of the evidence you hold against the applicable passport data points (for batteries, Annex XIII of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542)
- Classification of evidence as Available / Incomplete / Missing
- Blocking and high-risk gaps prioritised, with upstream supplier dependencies identified
- A prioritised readiness plan: what must be resolved before any passport or QR code is generated
- Direct working sessions with your team, not a software login exercise
Where it fits
Steps 1 to 3 of a PASSready project.
The practical starting point: which passport requirements apply to each product, what evidence you already hold and what is missing.
- Step 01
Review the full product portfolio
Identify which products need a Digital Product Passport now, starting with batteries, and which categories are expected to follow.
- Step 02
Determine the specific EU regulatory requirements
Define exactly what information, technical documentation, labelling, declarations and digital data are required for each product category.
- Step 03
Create a product-by-product compliance matrix
Map the product or category, applicable EU regulations, compliance requirements, required data fields, documentation, QR code or DPP requirements, and all outstanding gaps or actions.
